DWIs

* A subject was taken into custody, pending filing of formal charges on driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, speeding and driving a motor vehicle with expired license plates.

* Brian E. Waterman, 24, of 415 N. Mount Auburn Road, Apt. 2, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and operating an unlicensed motor vehicle.

Arrests

* Two subjects were taken into custody, pending filing of formal charges on possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Catheryn L. Maya, 1824 Big Bend Road, was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop at a stop sign and driving while suspended.

* Romaine H. Brown III., 36, of Oran, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for speeding.

Summons

* Deanna M. Caldwell, 39, of 2048 Big Bend Road, was issued a summons for driving while suspended.

Assaults

* Assault and property damage were reported.

* Domestic assault and property damage were reported at 2834 Whitener St. Alva Long, 39, of 2834 Whitener St. Apt. 5, was arrested in connection with the complaint.

Thefts

* Identity theft was reported.

* An animal was reported stolen at 1705 Good Hope Street.

* A purse was reported stolen at 735 N. Clark St.

* Cash was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* A laundry basket and fabric softener were reported stolen at 318 N. Sprigg St. and were later recovered.

* Auto Trim Design, 606 S. Kingshighway, reported a red 1988 Heritage 18-foot flatbed trailer stolen.

Miscellaneous

* Interference with custody was reported.
