The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Lamecha R. Abraham, 27, of 1410 Pemiscot St., was arrested on a Cole County warrant for probation violation.

* Samantha N. Burks, 18, of Scott City, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for careful, prudent, operation required.

* Brian A. Pfefferkorn, 23, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants, one for failure to appear for prohibited acts -- noise disturbance and two for failure to appear for a suspended operators license and a seat belt violation.

Summonses

* James L. Schafer II, 52, of 3535 Dana, received a summons for telephone harassment.

* David M. Kinder, 37, of 2531 Carriage Crossing, received a summons for failure to maintain property.

* Sebastian T. Thomas, 23, of 1817 N. Main St., received a summons for stealing.

Assaults

* A domestic assault was reported. A suspect was in custody pending filing of formal charges.

* Central Junior High School, 205 Caruthers Ave., reported an assault on school property. A 13-year-old was cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.

* A sexual assault was reported. Police declined to give more details while the investigation is pending.

Thefts

* Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported theft of gasoline.

* A CD player, CDs and cash were reported stolen from a vehicle at 2825 Bloomfield Road. The vehicle was reported damaged.

* Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported theft of gasoline.

* Huck's Convenience Store, 353 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of alcohol. Bruce A. Smith of 611 W. Washington St., Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of stealing in connection with the complaint.

* A German shepherd dog was reported stolen at 18 N. Frederick St.

* A Pioneer CD player was reported stolen at 838 S. Ellis St.

* A 21-speed mountain bike was reported stolen.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 60 S. Kingshighway. A toolbox and tools, a computer monitor, keyboard and tower were stolen and an air conditioner was damaged.

Property Damage

* Accidental vehicle damage was reported at 907 S. Ellis St.

* Parkview State School, 1020 S. Parkway, reported damaged shingles and trespassing.

* A brick wall and wooden electrical shed were reported damaged at 1360 Randol Ave.

* A car door was reported damaged at 221 S. Ellis St.

Miscellaneous

* A peace disturbance was reported at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road. A 14-year-old was cited into juvenile court.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Hayley J. Yavuz, 23, of 1198 County Road 335, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, speeding, and a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.

Arrests

* Dustin W. Parmer, 20, of 957 W. Independence St., Lot 17, Jackson, was arrested on a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear and a Madison County warrant for failure to pay fine.

* Bobby Staten, 25, of 630 Broadridge Drive, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.

* Barnabas O. Alexander, 26, of Tamms, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain a single lane.

* Jimmy D. Reed, 21, of 407 East Lane No. 24, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Justin D. Jarvis, 24, of 914 Old Cape Rd., Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and on seven Stoddard County warrants for failure to appear, a parole violation warrant out of Jefferson City, Mo., and a Madison County warrant for failure to appear.

Theft

* A theft was reported on South Farmington Road.

* A theft was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.

* A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Main Street.

Property Damage

* Vandalism was reported on High Street.

* Vandalism was reported in the 300 block of East Lane.

* Property damage was reported on South High Street.

Miscellaneous

* An ex parte violation was reported in the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.

* A fight was reported on Washington Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 3200 block of Old Cape Road.

* A domestic dispute was reported in the 100 block of South Farmington Road.

* A domestic dispute was reported in the 3600 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A disturbance was reported in the 300 block of Broadridge Drive.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Morgan Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 600 block of North Hope Street.

Southeast Missouri State University

The following items were released by the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety.

Thefts

* A PlayStation memory card was reported stolen from New Hall.

* A car stereo and wallet were reported stolen from Area 49.
