The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI Patricia J. Simmons, 46, of Route 1, Box 372B, McClure, Ill., was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests Taneeco L. Harris, 31, of 4215 Margaretta, St. Louis, was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for forgery.

Lindsey D. Huckstep, 20, of 408 Crites, Scott City, Mo., was arrested Tuesday on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear.

Sonya L. Sinn, 19, of 333 Ellis, Apt. D, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Christina L. Batchelor, 24, of 1030 West Mount Drive, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Tuesday on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

A person was placed in custody Tuesday pending the filing of formal charges for assault of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

Hung Q. La, 46, of 901 W. Rodney, Cape Girardeau, was arrested Wednesday on a federal warrant for bank fraud and conspiracy.

Roger L. Ewing, 41, of 225 N. Frederick, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

Summonses Brian K. Johnson of 1866 Marietta Street, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Tuesday for no proof of insurance.

Kyle D. Kienninger of 192 Caladium, Jackson, received a summons Tuesday for failure to yield.

Michael J. Ponder of 2132 Wood Hollow Court, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Wednesday for an improper lane change.

Christy D. Poley, 29, of 105 N. Clark, Apt. 102, Cape Girardeau, received a summons Wednesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Thefts A purse and its contents were reported stolen Tuesday at 205 Caruthers. A 14-year-old male was cited to juvenile court for stealing and property damage in connection with the complaint.

A purse and its contents were reported stolen and a vehicle damaged Tuesday at Interstate 55.

Batteries were reported stolen Tuesday by Dollar General at 724 Broadway. Brenda D. Hail, 36, of 605 N. Spanish, Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of stealing in connection with the complaint.

DVDs were reported stolen Tuesday by Wal-Mart at 3439 William. Carl D. Canull, 19, of 606 S. Silver Springs, Apt. 15, Cape Girardeau, and Brandon L. Franklin, 19, of 615 Boxwood, Apt. 4, Cape Girardeau, were arrested on suspicion of stealing in connection with the complaint.

An animal was reported stolen Wednesday at 1620 William.

Property Damage A window was reported damaged Tuesday by Century 21 Heartland Realty at 510 N. Fountain. Amber L. Swader, 19, of 510 N. Fountain, Apt. 12, Cape Girardeau, received a summons for property damage in connection with the complaint.

Miscellaneous Failure to return rental property was reported Tuesday by Express Rent to Own at 320 S. Sprigg.

A 31-year-old woman was placed in protective custody Tuesday.

Miscellaneous A verbal dispute was reported Tuesday in the 700 block of West Adams.

A peace disturbance was reported Tuesday in the 300 block of South Missouri.

A peace disturbance was reported Tuesday in the 100 block of South Shawnee.

A domestic dispute was reported Tuesday in the 300 block of East Jefferson.
