The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Frank J. Allen, 21, of 536 S. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for distribution of a controlled substance.

* Scott A. Licare, 47, no fixed address, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Harold D. Jackson, 28, of 517 S. Benton St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Argentry Marshall, 37, of 917 William St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Francis Merkler, 23, of 515 North St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear in court for passing bad checks.

Summons

* Scott Edwin Fast, 33, of 324 William St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of nuisance vehicles.

Assaults

* An assault of a law enforcement officer was reported in the 1500 block of Bloomfield Street. Brian M. Rodriguez, 25, of Patton, Mo., and James D. Scott, 34, of 1620 Good Hope St., were arrested on suspicion of assault of a law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine, driving while revoked and failure to comply with a court order ignition interlock system in connection with the complaint.

* An assault of a law enforcement officer and a disturbance of the peace were reported. Two boys, ages 15 and 16, were cited in juvenile court in connection with the complaint.

Thefts

* A silver 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix was reported stolen at 23 S. Hanover St.

* A card holder and personal papers were reported stolen at 2825 Bloomfield Road.

* A purse was reported stolen at 711 Clark Ave.

* Famous Barr reported the theft of jewelry and clothing at 100 W. Park Mall. A suspect was in custody in connection with the complaint.

* Famous Barr, 100 W. Park Mall, reported a theft. Pious J. Scott II, 24, of Jennings, Mo., was arrested in connection with the complaint.

* Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported the theft of gasoline.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 120 N. Main St.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 1903 Big Bend Road.

Miscellaneous

* Sears Grand, 330 Siemers Drive, reported a forged check.

* A 42-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Jennifer C. Drennan, of St. Louis, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

* Justin M. Lapresta, 22, of 925 Oak St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

* Joddie J. Simmons, 26, of 650 Eastview Court, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and speeding.

* Paul F. Wood, 46, of 816 Eagle Drive, received a summons for driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Arrests

* Timothy R. Harris, 45, of 136 W. Vale Drive, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

* Jeremy Mabrey, 29, of 1425 Jennifer Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to maintain insurance

* Amy N. Rose, 29, of Jackson, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

* Tammy B. Capps, 33, of Semmes, Ala., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

* Gina L. Roslen, 45, of 410 Howard St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Richard D. Hill, 31, of 555 N. Spring St., Cape Girardeau, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

* Tracy L. Mayfield, 37, of 611 W. Washington St., was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrested and property damage.

Summonses

* Darla D. Beller, 43, of 702 Donna Drive, received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle

* James Hickam, 69, of 2802 County Road 442, received a summons for failure to stop for a school bus arm.

* Terry O. Wood, 42, of Marble Hill, Mo., received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance

* Brandon I. Youngerman, 15, of 309 N. Ohio St., received a summons for riding a skateboard on a city street.

* Nicole R. Brotherton, 27, of 312 Boxwood Drive, Cape Girardeau, received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Alysse M. Moore, 21, of 106 Donald St., received a summons for failure to stop for a posted stop sign.

* Dennis A. Rogers, 27, of 2841 Palmer Drive, received a summons for failure to stop for a posted stop sign.

* Marie M. Seabaugh, 56, of 33 Willow Bend Drive, received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Brenda M. Cates, 52, of 720 Olive St., received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Antonio Fino, 24, of Sikeston, Mo., received a summons for not having an operator's license.

* Mary B. Rush, 37, of 814 Old Cape Road, received a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to show proof of insurance.

* William R. Jones, 37, of 5500 Route OO, received a summons for not having a valid license.

* Rebecca S. Martin, 19, of Burfordville, received a summons for failure to stop for a posted stop sign.

* Justin R. Campbell, 19, of Delta, received a summons for a child restraint violation.

* A vehicle was reported tampered with in the 600 block of Kies Avenue.

* Vandalism was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* Property damage was reported in the 1600 block of Rosebud Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Trespassing was reported in the 100 block of South Shawnee Boulevard.

* Two peace disturbances were reported on Old Cape Road.

* A peace disturbance was reported on West Jackson Boulevard.

* Illegal dumping was reported in the 3300 block of Bainbridge Road.

* A disturbance of the peace was reported in the 200 block of Morgan Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 700 block of East Jackson Boulevard
