Cape Girardeau
Cape Girardeau police department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- William L. Worn Jr., of Powlan, Ga., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving on the wrong side of roadway.
- Louis T. Bond, 47, of Scott City was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
- Melanie G. Wakely, 25, 505 Washington St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
- Brenda J. Mitchell, 47, 216 S. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of parole violation.
- Aundra D. Wren, 22, 2824 Themis St., Apt. 6, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
- Kenneth D. Hester, 27, of Olive Branch, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of no driver's license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thefts
- A burglary was reported at Word of Faith Fellowship, 1225 Merriwether St. A broken door and frame were reported.
- A theft of sony CD/ stereo was reported at 2700 Pioneer Drive, No. 159.
- A burglary was reported at 710 S. Ellis St.
- Jasper's, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported theft of gasoline.
- Theft of a car mirror was reported at 210 S. Hanover St.
- Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported theft of gasoline.
- Theft of a CD player and damage to a dashboard was reported at 1424 William St., Apt. 2.
- Theft of a Missouri tag was reported at 2835 Lear St.
- Theft of an XM radio and remote and Cobra radar detector was reported at 2700 Pioneer Drive.
- Theft of a blue BMX bicycle was reported at 26 N. Ellis St.
- Theft of two gym bags was reported at Minnesota and Rust streets. A broken vehicle window was reported in the same incident.
- Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
