Arrests; Jackson: Summonses
Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Jerry E. Hutchason, 37, of Fredericktown, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
- Jajvan D. Bell, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and peace disturbance.
- Shauntel L. Roberts, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts.
Summons
- Michael E. Kile, 35, of Marble Hill, Mo., received a summons for driving while intoxicated, improper turn and failure to drive in a single lane.
Thefts
- A purse was reported stolen at 127 Water St.
- A burglary was reported at 422 Bellevue St., Apt C.
DWI
- A 45-year-old man is in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.

Jackson
The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Summonses
- Jacob K Bell, 18, Route 2, Box 2185, Sedgewickville, Mo., was issued a summons for a stop light violation.
- Travis M. Beussink, 23, 1037 Highland Drive, was issued a summons for failure to yield to another vehicle, causing an accident.
- Joshua D. Wheeler, 19, 618 N. Georgia St., was issued a summons for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
- James E. Meyer, 19, 2137 W. Independence St., was issued a summons for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
- Curtis D. Kelley Jr., 51, 903 S. Kingshighway, was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a single lane and property damage.
- Lauren R. Chase, 28, 811 Cecile Drive, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
- Derek G. Hoover, 32, 105 N. Clark St., Apt. 308, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and an equipment violation.
- A 16-year-old was issued a summons for a stop light violation.
Property damage
- Property damage was reported in the 1200 block of Brandom Street.
- Property damage was reported in the 300 block of Cherry Street.
Theft
- Alcohol was reported stolen in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
Miscellaneous
- Credit card fraud was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
- Telephone harassment was reported in the 700 block of Broadridge Drive.
- A verbal dispute was reported in the 1300 block of North Farmington Road.
- A peace disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of Garrett Lane.
- A verbal dispute was reported in the 300 block of South Ohio Street.
