Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau police department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Wade A. Moore, 39, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau county warrant for probation violation.
  • Willard D. Hawkins, 25, of Scott City, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration and no seatbelt.
  • Perry L. Harkey, 51, of 1230 Sailor Circle, was arrested on a Jackson police warrant for failure to appear for nonmoving violation.
  • Brian D. Scherer, 30, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
  • John P. Waller, 34, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
  • Dustin P. Matty, 19, of 2607 Azalea Lane, was arrested on suspicion of property damage.
  • Theresa A. Sullivan, 41, of Scott City, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • Melinda M. Fowler, 21, of Benton, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration, child restraint and no insurance.

Summons

  • Carah Matuscin, 20, of 334 N. Sprigg St., received a summons for illegal dumping.

Assaults

  • Two domestic assaults were reported
  • Two assaults were reported.

Thefts

  • A theft of tools was reported at 505 N. Kingshighway.
  • A theft of a cell phone was reported at 2552 Independence St.
  • A theft of an EBT card was reported at 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • A theft of a camera and lens was reported at 25 S. Lorimer St.
  • A theft of a purse was reported at 2852 N. Fountain St.
  • A theft of an orange and black bicycle was reported at 814 N. Fountain St.
  • A theft of mail was reported at 1222 S. Pacific St.
  • Kidd's II, 103 N. Kings­high­way, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A theft of a tote bag was reported at 2302 Abbey St.

Property damage

  • Damage to a garage door and brick wall were reported at 525 Broadway.
  • A damaged mailbox was reported at 2552 Independence St.

Jackson

The Jackson police department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

  • Shalaya L. Jones, 22, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons.
