Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Amanda Zimmerman, 20, of 516 Washington Ave., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine for possession of a controlled substance, trespassing and failure to appear for stealing.
  • Armed criminal action and robbery were reported at Clark Avenue and Dunklin Street. Antonio Johnson, 17, was arrested in connection with the incident.

Summonses

  • Scottie Ray Moyers, no age given, of 3805 Carolewood Drive, was issued a summons for following too closely and failure to show proof of insurance.
  • Laura Holloway, no age given, of 818 Jefferson Ave., was issued a summons for failure to show proof of insurance.
  • Erin Vonnida, no age given, of 250 S. Forrester Drive, was issued a summons for failure to yield.
  • Scott Fast, 44, of 324 Rear William St., was issued a summons for a nuisance vehicle.
  • Frederick Yeo, 60, of Oshkosh, Wis., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of weeds at 138 Green Acres Drive.
  • Martha Gross, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for following too closely.

Thefts

  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft. Ora Gardner, 29, and James McKinney, 37, both of Forest City, Ark., were arrested in connection with the incident.
  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported forged checks.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported the theft of gasoline.
  • A mower and trimmer were reported at 833 Merriwether St.
  • A stereo face plate, Tracphone and CD were reported stolen at 247 Siemers Drive.
  • A CD player was reported stolen at 1416 Jefferson Ave.
  • Electricity was reported stolen at 219 S. Pacific St.
  • Two golf carts were reported stolen at 1020 N. Clark Ave.
  • A DVD player and cell phone were reported stolen at 1912 E. Weissinger St.
  • BP, 3276 William St., reported the theft of gasoline.

Property damage

  • Ten Mile High LLC, 115 N. Fountain St., reported a door jam and metal door.
  • Vehicle paint was reported scratched at 25 S. Lorimier St.

Miscellaneous

  • Sexual misconduct was reported.
  • A blue bicycle was found at 2901 Hawthorne Road.
  • Harrassing phone calls were reported.
  • Knowingly burning was reported.
  • A 13-year-old runaway girl was recovered and cited into juvenile court.
  • A dog bite was reported at 2028 Cambridge Drive.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Nathan Spruiel, 20, of 604 N. High St., Apt. 2, was arrested on suspicion of stealing less than $500, second-degree property damage, resisting arrest by fleeing, and on a felony St. Louis County warrant.
  • Clifford Adams, 42, of 1207 E. Main St., Apt. 56, was arrested on a Missouri warrant for unlawful use of a weapon.

Thefts

  • A stereo was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Clark Street.
  • Cable was reported stolen in the 300 block of East Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • Fraud was reported in the 1200 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
  • A court order violation was reported in the 1300 block of North Street.
