Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Michael T. Council, 37, of 1920 Montgomery St., was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.
  • Mark L. Arnold, 51, of 141 S. Henderson St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Justin D. Statler, 23, of 1903 N. Kingshighway, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Summons

  • Brandi N. Curry, 29, of 928 S. Ellis St., received a summons for prohibited acts.

Thefts

  • A camera, computer and video games were reported stolen from 2834 Whitener St.
  • An iPod, transmitter, cell phone and guitar with case were reported stolen from 24 S. Spanish St.

Property damage

  • Prost Builders, of 221 N. Fountain St., reported damage to a brick wall.
  • Damage to a vehicle was reported at 2842 Independence St., Apt. 11.

Miscellaneous

  • Tampering was reported.
  • Interference with custody was reported.
  • Tampering with a victim was reported.
  • A found check was reported.
  • A domestic assault was reported.
  • Depositing trash in others' containers was reported.
  • An abandoned vehicle was towed at the 600 block of Timon Way.

Southeast Missouri State University

The following items were reported by the Department of Public Safety. Arrests do not imply guilt.

  • Graffiti was reported in the University Center restrooms.
  • An assault was reported at the Show Me Center.

Jackson

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Theft

  • Theft was reported in the 700 block of South Hope Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported on Parkview Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Littering was reported in the 2600 block of Mansfield Place.
  • Violation of a court order was reported in the 600 block of Greensferry Road.
  • Domestic dispute was reported on Parkview Street.
