Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following information. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Joshua A. Gibbs, 21, of 337 Spring Ave., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for possession of marijuana.
  • Gerame E. Box, 22, of 225 25th St., Cairo, Ill. was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of stealing from Kmart.
  • Lee W. Ivy, 23, of 214 25th St., Cairo, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau city warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for speeding and contempt of court for failure to pay fine for no operator's license.
  • Marquies C. Boyd, 23, of 426 S. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest by fleeing.
  • Tyler E. Borgfield, 19, of 526 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Timothy S. Hunter, 47, of 413 Springfield Ave, Anna, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trial for delivery or concealment of contraband.
  • Cenecia S. Aldridge, 19, of 2 N. Benton St. was arrested on a warrant.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of resisting arrest.

Summons

  • Karen A Sneed, 51, of 843 Jefferson St., was issued a summons on suspicion of assault.
  • Joannie J. Smith, 33, of 824 Good Hope St., was issued a summons on suspicion of failure to obey a lawful order and obstructing traffic.
  • Dennis W. McDonald, 33, of 1804 Mohawk St., was issued a summons on suspicion of having an illegal sign.
  • Justin D. Wallace, 19, of 1024 Odus Drive, Jackson, and Joshua A. Gibbs, 21, of 337 Spring Ave., were arrested on suspicion of stealing.

Thefts

  • A check was reported stolen from 1318 Perryville Road.
  • E.T. Video at 616 Velvet, Coon Rapids, Iowa, reported a laptop computer, cargo pants, DVDs and other items stolen from a company car parked at the Victorian Inn in Cape Girardeau.
  • A mobile phone was reported stolen at 420 S. Missouri St.
  • A mobile phone and holder were reported stolen from 120 N. Main St.
  • Celebrations of 615 Bellevue St. reported food items stolen.
  • A mobile phone was reported stolen from 2034 Sherwood St.
  • Rhodes 101 at 1126 N. Sprigg St. reported gasoline stolen.
  • Stealing was reported at 2867 Whitener St., Apt. A1.
  • Baskets were reported stolen at 207 N. Henderson Ave.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.

Assaults

  • Two domestic assaults were reported.
  • Assault was reported at the corner of Sprigg and Maple streets.

Property damage

  • Prost Buildings at 221 N. Frederick St. reported damage to a window.
  • Corian J. Greer, 17, of 319 Park Drive, Apt. 390 was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • A 13-year-old girl is in custody on suspicion of stealing.

  • Disturbing the peace was reported.
  • Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
  • Protective custody was ordered for a 32-year-old man.
  • Protective custody was ordered for a 47-year-old woman.
  • Harassing phone calls were reported.
  • Child abuse was reported.
  • Interference with child custody was reported.
  • Capaha Bank reported counterfeit currency.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following information. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • A 14-year-old girl was referred to authorities for third-degree assault.
  • Jodie L. Walker, 30, of 130 N. Third St., Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear on traffic charges.

Summons

  • Jose Gonzales, 19, of 921 W. Adams St., was issued a summons for possession of a controlled substance.

Theft

  • A theft from an arcade was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.

Assaults

  • Assault was reported in the 200 block of East Lane.
  • Assault was reported in the 1500 block of Old Cape Road.

Miscellaneous

  • Four instances of disturbing the peace were reported.
