Cape/Jackson police report 4/2/07

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

• A 27-year-old man is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
• A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

• George H. Harlacher, 40, of 119 Black Ave. in Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on a Lasalle County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear.
• Claudette Latrice Johnson, 30, of 3007 Wisteria Drive, Apt. A, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
• Steven Dusterhoft, 26, of 111 West Outer Road in Scott City, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for writing bad checks and a warrant for probation violation for driving while intoxicated.

Assault

• Third-degree assault was reported at 1448 N. Kingshighway.
• Third-degree assault was reported at 829 S. Kingshighway.
• Domestic assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.

Theft

• A purse and cash were reported stolen at the intersection of Highway 71 and Minnesota Avenue.
• Gasoline was reported stolen at Rhodes 101 Convenience Store, 546 S. Sprigg St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 3049 William St.

Miscellaneous

• Property was found at the intersection of Middle and Good Hope streets.
• Prohibited acts were reported at 636 Charles St.
• A subject was taken into protective custody at 1756 Whitener Drive.
• A subject was taken into protective custody at the intersection of Spanish and Park streets.
• Sexual misconduct involving a child was reported.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department.

Summonses

• Gregory S. Ludwig, 21, of 3203 Oak Ridge Drive, was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.
• Frank K. Vandevan, 25, of Route 2, Box 695 in Marble Hill, Mo., was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving.

Miscellaneous

• A peace disturbance was reported in the 600 block of West Washington Street.
• Trespassing was reported in the 1400 block of Greenleaf Avenue.
• An identification card was reported found on East Jackson Boulevard.
• Request to check the well-being of an individual was reported in the 600 block of West Adams Street.
