Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Keith E. Williams, 45, of Jackson was arrested on a warrant.
  • Dorsilyn J. Johnson, 36, of St. Louis was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for possession of drug paraphernalia, stealing and failure to appear.
  • Jennifer N. Pruitt, 24, of 729 Themis St., Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of hindering prosecution.
  • Mark E. Brazel, 35, homeless, was arrested on suspicion for driving while revoked, resisting arrested by fleeing, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of a controlled substance (oxycodone), possession of a controlled substance (methadone), possession of drug paraphernalia and no turn signal.
  • Reggie E. Kindle, 24, of 1005 Jefferson St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for driving while intoxicated and no operator's license.
  • Judy L. Strachan, 54, 10 N. Middle St., was arrested on an Alexander County, Ill., warrant for deceptive practice.
  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges of domestic assault.
  • Anthony A. Howard, 26, of 1105 Ellis St., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court.
  • A suspect is in custody pending filing of formal charges of domestic assault.
  • A 13-year-old boy is in custody on suspicion of stealing.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of trespassing.

Assault

  • A domestic assault was reported.

Summonses

  • Leroy E. Kimmel, 72, of 957 Rodney Drive, received a summons for leash-law violation.
  • Troy L. Jones, 53, of 1505 Stoddard Court, received a summons for leash-law violation

DWI

  • Jeremy E. Yount, 26, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and stop-sign violation.

Thefts

  • Rhodes 101, 1624 Kingshighway, reported a theft of food.
  • Two pistols were reported stolen.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit card device was reported.

  • A leash-law violation was reported.
  • A request for service was reported.
  • Speeding, suspended license and no seat belt were reported.
  • An ex parte violation was reported.
  • Possession of an imitation controlled substance was reported.

  • A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Old Cape Road.
  • A theft was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.
  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Property damage

  • Property was reported damaged in the 300 block of East Monroe Street.

Miscellaneous

  • Harassment was reported in the 1000 block of Kent Street.
  • Loitering was reported on Parkview Street.
  • A peace disturbance was reported at Elm and Luetje streets.
