Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Justin M. Locke, 22, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for driving while intoxicated.
  • Joseph D. Gray, 25, of 709 North St., Apt. 1, was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Bryan K. Burchett, 44, of 101 S. Lorimier St., No. A, was arrested on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana.
  • Karen A. Stacy, 38, of 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 6, was arrested on a St. Francois County warrant for failure to appear for fraud.
  • Glendell W. Stacy, 49, of 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 6, was arrested on a Farmington, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for driving while suspended.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of stealing, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Thefts

  • A purse was reported stolen at 3439 William St.
  • A watercolor painting was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
  • Rhodes 101, of 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A Missouri license plate 3AL09M was reported stolen.
  • Jaspers, 1008 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Orscheln's Farm & Home, 338 Christine St., reported a theft of a tiller and extension cord.
  • A car title was reported stolen at 1400 S. West End Blvd.

Property damage

  • A mailbox was reported damaged at 920 Lexington Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • Failure to maintain property free of trash and litter was reported.
  • Sexual assault and child abuse were reported.
  • A peace disturbance was reported.

Southeast Missouri State University

The following items were reported by the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • The letter "s" from East Fountain was reported stolen at Broadway and Henderson Avenue.
  • An NC NP1000 projector was reported stolen at Parker Drive.

Jackson

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Assaults

  • An assault was reported in the 900 block of Priest Street.
  • An assault was reported on North Maryland and Greensferry roads.

Summons

  • Theresa D. Shurm, 34, of 7582 Route CC, received a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign, causing an accident.

Property damage

  • Property was reported damaged in the 900 block of East Main Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 2500 block of Diana Drive.
