Arrests; Thefts

Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Rodrick Willis Jr., 28, of East St. Louis, Ill., was arrested on two St. Clair County, Ill., warrants for driving on suspended license and unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
  • Romeo P. Smith, 19, of 601 N. Sprigg St., No. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.
  • Adam B. Reese, 21, of Scott City, Mo., was arrested on five St. Francois County warrants for passing bad checks.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges of hindering prosecution and driving while license revoked.
  • Robin D. Heatherly, 33, of Oak Ridge, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Joshua K. Morris, 19, of 2913 Questa, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for property damage.
  • Zachary L. Green 20, of Jackson was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for probation violation of driving while intoxicated and failure to appear for suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and driving on the wrong side of the road.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of forgery.
  • A 15-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of behavior injurious to self.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Summonses

  • Joe L. Brown, 19, of Marble Hill, Mo., received a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thefts

  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.
  • An attempted burglary was reported.
  • Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 2825 Bevin Drive.
  • A purse, cash and iPod were reported stolen and two vehicles reported damaged at 2902 Lear Drive.
  • Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Property damage

  • A cell phone was reported damaged at 815 W. Rodney Drive.
  • A windshield was reported damaged in the 1700 block of Themis Street.
  • C&H Group, 121 E. Rodney Drive, Apt. B1, reported damage to a front entry door.

Miscellaneous

  • Property was reported found at Merriwether Street and Henderson Avenue.
  • Property was reported found at 1701 Lacey St.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Cash was reported found in the 200 block of South Pacific Street.
  • A subject was released pending review on suspicion of failure to restrain child and driving while license revoked.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • Misrepresentation of being a legal guardian for body piercing was reported.

Jackson

The following items were reported by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 3800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Fraud was reported in the 900 block of Kent Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at South Oklahoma and West Monroe streets.
  • Property damage was reported in the 700 block of Wedge Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Main Street.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.
  • Harassment was reported in the 400 block of Old Cape Road.
