Arrests; Summons; Theft

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Frederia Y. Trawick, 45, 446 Bertling St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Jamis Foggie III, 42, 2838 Whitener St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.

Assaults

  • Second-degree domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault, property damage and stealing were reported.

Burglary

  • A burglary was attempted at 532 Cape Meadows Circle. A window screen and frame were reported damaged in the incident.

Thefts

  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of alcohol.
  • A purse was reported stolen at 254 S. Silver Springs Road.
  • Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.

Property damage

  • Graffiti damage was reported at 205 Caurthers Ave.
  • A glass insert for an aluminum door frame was reported damaged at 522 S. Ellis St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 21-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • A 32-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • A request for service was reported.
  • A 36-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Summons

  • Sherman L. Rutherford, 45, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 1200 block of Gloria Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Highland Drive.

Southeast Missouri State University

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following item.

Theft

  • A wallet was reported stolen at the University Center cafeteria.
