Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Joseph F. Welker, 42, 28650 U.S. 61, Scott City, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest.
  • A subject is in custody pending formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to yield to emergency vehicle and driving while revoked.

Arrests

  • John Robert MIller, 28, 2818 Whitener St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.
  • Milton Cortez Baldwin, 25, 2832 Themis St., was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for failure to appear.
  • Melvin Neal, 51, 337 N. Ellis St., was arrested on a parole absconder warrant.
  • Jonah Edward Patton, 21, 2601 W. Claremont St., Phoenix, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

Theft

  • Nearly Perfect Shoes reported the theft of shoes.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported.

Property damage

  • A window was reported broken at 123 Main St.
  • Pagliai's Pizza reported a broken padlock.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Jessy Tyler Engram, 25, 812 Old Cape Road, was arrested on two Stoddard County warrants for driving while intoxicated and a Butler County warrant for unlawful use of a weapon.

Summonses

  • Bobby Franklin Cook, 50, Rural Route 1, Box 408, Marble Hill, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle and displaying the plates of another vehicle.
  • Tara Rhea Brown, 17, Rural Route 1, Box 133, Marble Hill, Mo., received a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft

  • Theft was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.

Miscellaneous

  • Report of a peace/noise disturbance in the area of North Neal Street.
