Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Don S. Moore, 42, 13 N. Fountain St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a Pemiscot County warrant for child neglect.
  • Gene L. Douthit, 29, 1115 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
  • Two subjects are in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to distribute and possession of Demerol.

Assaults

  • A burglary and domestic assault were reported.
  • Three domestic assaults were reported.

Thefts

  • Jaspers, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A heater and air conditioner were reported stolen at 1218 Big Bend Road.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit device and identity theft were reported.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
  • Credit cards were reported stolen at 2101 William St.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Summonses

  • Kyle W. Hente, 21, of 1805 Grandview Drive, received a summons for peace disturbance.
  • Matthew L. Houren, 24, of 1112 Linden St., received a summons for harassment.

  • A runaway juvenile was reported.
  • A request for service was reported.
  • Property was reported found in the 200 block of South Silver Springs Road.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • Interference with custody was reported.

Thefts

  • A fraud was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
