Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Robert D. Weissinger, 29, of 611 Mechaw Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for bad checks.
  • Stephenie N. Ramirez, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.
  • James A. Arnn, 29, of 415 Albert St. was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • Clarence E. Geiger, III, 17, of 1126 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of assault and property damage.

DWI

  • Blake J. Greene, 23, of Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence and speeding.

Summonses

  • Jeffrey A. McLain, of 1205 W. Cape Rock Drive, received a summons for striking a tree.
  • David A. Hopper, of 1420 Wayne St., received a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.
  • Kimberly D. Houseman, of Millersville, received a summons for following too closely.
  • Rebecca A. Christian, of 1138 Landgraf Drive, received a summons for failing to wear a seat belt.
  • Gordon L. Thomas, of Cairo, Ill., received a summons for failure to stop for a posted stop sign.
  • Blake D. Palmer, of Jackson, Mo., received a summons for failure to stop at a red light.

Thefts

  • Dmart, 3415 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Four air conditioners were reported stolen and windows and an exterior wall reported damaged at 1927 N. Kingshighway.
  • 401K investments were reported stolen at 1733 N. Kingshighway.
  • A Sony PlayStation 2, games and DVDs were reported stolen at 22 N. Hanover St.
  • Missouri license plates were reported stolen from a vehicle at 622 Jefferson Ave.
  • A video camera was reported stolen at 409 E. Cape Rock Drive.
  • A Craftsman stapler was reported stolen at 1210 S. Benton St.
  • Tires and rims from 14-foot trailers were reported stolen at 1728 N. Kingshighway.
  • Jaspers, 1008 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Cash was reported stolen at 128 S. Park.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • DVDs, CDs and a case were reported stolen at 2735 Chrysler Ave.
  • A vehicle window was reported broken and an in-dash CD radio was reported stolen at 539 Asher St.
  • A lava lamp, clothing and a chrome cigarette case were reported stolen from 517 S. Middle St.

  • A front driver-side window of a vehicle was reported damaged at 1313 Kenwood Drive.
  • A front driver-side window of a vehicle was reported damaged at 1842 Belle Ridge Pike.
  • A vehicle's roof and radio antenna were reported damaged at 3906 Eagle Ridge Court.
  • The front windshield of a vehicle was reported damaged and dents and scratches were reported on the hood at 2902 Magnolia Ave.
  • A bedroom window was reported damaged at 1022 Jefferson Ave.
  • A glass window was reported damaged at 921 William St., No. 2.

Miscellaneous

  • Interference with custody was reported.

  • Mark S. Bayliss, 47, of Patton, Mo., received a summons for failure to stop for a posted stop sign, improper display of license plates and failure to maintain insurance.

Theft

  • A whirlpool was reported stolen from the 1700 block of Trevino Drive.
  • Video games were reported stolen from the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Food and fuel were reported stolen from the 1800 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Money order fraud was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

  • Telephone harassment was reported in the 900 block of Lake Street.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 800 block of August Street.
  • A noise complaint was reported in the 2500 block of Old Cape Road.
