The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Edwin J. Rulo, 19, of 2501 Leroy Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.
  • Ranell A. Robinson, 27, of 800 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for receiving stolen property.
  • A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing.
  • Carl A. Boitnott, 20, of 27 N. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs.
  • Dustin R. Campbell of Scott City was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear and a Bollinger County warrant for failure to appear for speeding.
  • Roger W. Poole Jr., 21, of 429 S. Benton St. was arrested on suspicion of burglary/stealing.

Assaults

  • A domestic assault and armed criminal action were reported.
  • An assault was reported.
  • A sexual assault was reported.

DWIs

  • Roy A. Vandeweghe, 29, of 1736 Oakley Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving while license suspended.
  • Brian G. Dorenkamp 23, of Wildwood, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain right half of roadway.
  • Christopher R. Griep, 23, of Hillsboro, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Thefts

  • A wallet was reported stolen at 1701 Lacey St.
  • Monty's Manufactured Housing, 602 S. Kingshighway, reported the theft of an electric range.
  • A camera was reported stolen at 1732 N. Kingshighway.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen at 603 N. Middle St.
  • A wallet was reported stolen at 915 College Hill Place.
  • Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported rental property was not returned.
  • License plate renewal tabs were reported stolen in the Cape Girardeau area.

Summonses

  • Milford P. Kirn of Jackson received a summons for leaving the scene of an accident.
  • Mark E. Siter, of 1326 N. Sprigg St., No. 5, received a summons for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a stop sign, failure to maintain right half of roadway, careless and imprudent driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
  • Dereck C. Savat, of 1828 Bloomfield St., received a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.

Property damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 2620 Kenneth Drive.

  • A peace disturbance was reported.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • An ex parte violation was reported.
  • Protective custody for a 45-year-old woman was reported.
  • Telephone harrassment was reported.

  • A theft was reported in the 2800 block of Ridge Road.
  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported in the 900 block of Morton Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.

Burglaries

  • A burglary was reported in the 1500 block of Old Cape Road.
  • A burglary was reported in the 1500 block of Rosebud Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A sexual offense was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.
  • A person was reported missing in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
  • A court order violation was reported in the 800 block of Old Cape Road.
  • A court order violation was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Child abuse was reported in the 2600 block of Mansfield Place.

Southeast Missouri State University

The following items were released by the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A vehicle stereo was reported stolen in Parking Lot 5.
  • CDs were reported stolen in Area 16.
  • CDs, a dashboard and vehicle stereo were reported stolen in Area 5.
  • A robbery was reported in Area 5.
