Arrests; Theft; Thefts

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported the following incidents. Arrests do not imply guilt

Arrests

  • Charles A. Faverty, 45, 811 Elm St., was arrested on a Cape Girar-deau warrant for failure to pay fines.
  • Pearl L. Parker, 32, 712 Pruitt St., Kennett, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for prohibited acts.
  • Richard S. Wren, 25, 1721 Cape Meadows Circle, Apt. 17, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance.

Thefts

  • The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported a theft.
  • Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported three instances of failure to return rental property in the loss of two televisions, a laptop computer and a computer with a monitor.

Miscellaneous

  • Interference with custody was reported.
  • Failure to maintain property was reported.
  • A wooden door was reported damaged at 1022 Sturdivant Ave.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department responded to the following incidents:

Theft

  • A theft was reported in the the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

  • A request to keep the peace in the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.

Southeast Missouri State University

The Department of Public Safety responded to the following incidents:

Thefts

  • Rowdy's Restaurant, Towers Circle, reported the theft of food.
  • Two computers, an iPod, its speakers, games and a T1 calculator were reported stolen from a Dearmont Circle building.
