Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Two subjects were in custody pending formal charges of trafficking crack cocaine.
  • Detasha L. Simmons, 20, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.
  • Brent S. Johnson, 21, of 1721 Cape Meadows Circle, No. 5, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for no driver's license.
  • Adam C. Smith, 31, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for property damage.

Assault

  • A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • A shirt and paperwork were reported stolen at 1015 N. Sprigg St.
  • A wallet was reported stolen at 918 Bellevue St.
  • A digital camera was reported stolen at 409 E. Cape Rock Drive.
  • D Mart, of 3415 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Cape Custom Homes, 675 Deevers Crossing, reported a theft.
  • Annie Kate's, 709 Broadway, reported a theft of a stroller.
  • A check was reported stolen at 203 N. Park Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia was reported.
  • Food Giant, 1120 N. Kingshighway, reported a forgery.
  • A dog bite was reported.
  • Abuse of a child was reported.
  • A 25-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • An 18-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • A bicycle was reported found.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Cecile Drive.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 1400 block of Deerwood Court.
  • A peace disturbance was reported on Sycamore Street.
  • Harassment was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.
