The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported the following incidents. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Kyle Greenley, 22, 3822 Stonebridge Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and impeding traffic.

Arrests

  • Stephen R. Johnson, 25, 3002 Themis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for seat belt violation.
  • John A. Shelton, 24, 418 S. Spring Ave., was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve, Mo., warrant for failure to register motor vehicle.
  • Thea Snider, 29, 523 N. Fountain St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for no operators license.

Summons

  • Elijah Cortez, 25, 503 Sycamore, Jackson, received a summons for prohibited acts/noises.

Assault

  • A domestic assault was reported along with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thefts

  • The City of Cape Girardeau reported stolen street signs in the 800 block of North Sprigg Street.
  • Jaspers, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A clothing theft was reported at 1225 William St.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported.

Property damage

  • Jeremiah's reported damage to a window.

Miscellaneous

  • A 19-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
