The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Demarcus L. Jones, 19, 313 N. Fountain St., No. 6, and Eric D. Aide, 24, 3216 Lakewood Drive, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and intent to distribute.
- David L. Hightower, 23, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for false declaration and violating a steady signal.
- Tyrance D. Hill, 21, 926 Jefferson St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and obstructing traffic.
- Shannon M. Adams, 18, 817 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for fraudulent use of a credit device.
- Walter W. Gordon, 20, 1104 William St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for fail to appear for probation revocation for stealing.
- Steven R. Sadler, 25, of Jackson, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for trial for possession of controlled substance, insurance card identification required and tampering.
Thefts
- Arena Golf, 2901 Hawthorne St., reported a theft of baseballs.
- Jasper's, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
- Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
- A fish finder was reported stolen at 3006 Melrose St.
Property damage
- Accidental damage to vehicle was reported at 3440 Lowes St.
- Vehicle damage was reported at 2855 Whitener St.
- A theft of patio furniture and showcases and vehicle dash damage reported at 605 N. Main St.
Miscellaneous
- An endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
- An illegal sign was reported.
- A 26-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

- Jonathan T. Simpson, 19, 824 Andrew St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.
- Tyler S. Halterman, 21, 1224 North St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive within a single lane.
- Larry D. Bradley Jr., 31, 3020 Boutin Drive Lot 3, was arrested on suspicion of intoxication.
- Stephen W. Wisdom, 145 Cochise Lane, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a single lane and failure to register a motor vehicle.
