Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Timothy Hurley, 17, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing and failure to appear for a possession of alcohol by a minor.
  • Talbot's, 201 S. Mount Auburn Road, reported the theft of clothing. Sandra A. Harris, 37, 1704 Bloomfield St., was arrested in connection with the incident.
  • Lillie A. Dry, 40, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia and a stop-sign violation.
  • Travis D. Riggs, 17, 404 Bellevue St., was arrested on a probation parole warrant for probation violation.
  • Doyal L. Abernathy, 54, 615 Lafayette Place, No. 2 was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Arthur L. Ivy, 25, 910 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Scott City warrant for fail to appear.

Thefts

  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 33 N. Kingshighway.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen at 1312 Margaret St.
  • CDs, a checkbook, and a stereo faceplate were reported stolen at 135 S. Missouri Ave.
  • A theft of umbrella and stand was reported at 536 Broadway.
  • A theft was reported.
  • Prescriptions, a candy bar and cigarettes were reported stolen at 714 S. Sprigg St.
  • Ann Laurie's Antiques, 536 Broadway, reported a theft of a cash box and money.
  • Failure to return rental property was reported by Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway.

Property damage

  • Damage to a hood latch and hood was reported at 1540 Amblewood Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A 24-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 12-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court in connection with false report.
  • A forgery was reported.
  • A 46-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • Failure to maintain property free of trash and nuisance vehicles was reported.
  • Assist other agency was reported.
  • An ex parte violation was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Lonnie D. Lynch, 41, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for larceny.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft in the 2000 block of Old Toll Road.

Miscellaneous

  • A request to keep the peace was made in the 200 block of North Ohio Street.
  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 2100 block of Bainbridge Road.
  • Harassment was reported in the 1000 block of Anna Street.
