Cape Girardeau

The following items were released Monday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

  • A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving while suspended and no headlights at Broadway and North West End Boulevard.
  • JC Lamar Brown, 26, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.

Arrests

  • Miguel Deleon Phillips, 38, 827 Elm St., was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Patricia Ann Cox, 41, 422 Bellevue St., Apt. B, was arrested on suspicion of stealing, fleeing lawful detention, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an imitation controlled substance and on a warrant for failure to appear.
  • Markeitha Renee Davis, 18, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine.
  • Matthew Woodrow Ervin, 41, 5228 State Highway 177, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Rodney Dewayne Smith, 955 Fort St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
  • A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges for resisting arrest by flight and stealing.
  • Derek Lee Sumpter, 20, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of attempted felony stealing, trespassing and resisting arrest by flight.
  • Derek Michael Runge, 17, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
  • Steven Ray Bennett, 25, of Mound City, Ill., was arrested on a warrant.

Summonses

  • Damarius Anthony Wells, 17, 934 William St., was issued a summons for property damage.
  • Crystal Ann Leek, 22, of Mound City, Ill., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Property damage

  • A trailer house window was reported damaged at 710 Morgan Oak St.

  • Assault was reported in the 100 block of South Union Street.

  • Assault was reported in the 1900 block of Lee Avenue.

Thefts

  • Theft wsa reported in the 200 block of Daisy Avenue.
  • Theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.
  • Theft was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.
  • Burglary was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A domestic dispute was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.
  • A request to check welfare in the 100 block of South Bellevue.
  • Harassment was reported in the 1400 block of East Main Street.
  • Harassment was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
  • Harassment was reported in the 600 block of Broadridge Drive.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.
  • A request was made to keep the peace in the 300 block of North Missouri Street.
