Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Bryant E. Gant, 40, of 3038 Westfield Drive, No. 114, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
• A 15-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of being a runaway juvenile.
• Joseph M. Tittle, 25, of Portageville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
• Stephanie A. Hobbs, 37, of 20 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on two Francois County warrants for probation violation, fraud/insufficient funds and for a Mississippi County warrant for failure to appear for neglect of child.
• Brandon J. Sherrion, 22, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for prohibited acts (noise disturbance and driving while under the influence).
• Nina L. Egson, 27, of Louisville, Ky., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for improper registration.
• A 9-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing and possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

• Garrett W. Stevens, of 2031 Pamela Drive, received a summons for following too closely.
• Steven P. Wilburn, 29, of Sikeston, Mo., received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with revoked driver's license.
• Matthew H. Besand, 23, of 920 Penny Ave., received a summons for property damage.
• A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of domestic assault.

DWI

• Matthew H. Besand, 23, of 920 Penny Ave., received a summons for speeding and driving while under the influence.

Thefts

• A wallet was reported stolen.
• Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
• Jewelry was reported stolen at 711 Normal Ave.
• Commerce Bank, 865 N. Kingshighway, reported fraudulent use of a credit device.
• The Missouri Department of Conservation, 1926 Grandview Drive, reported a briefcase and a laptop computer and accessories stolen.
• Mid South Steel, 2071 Corporate Circle, reported flatbed trailers stolen.
• A checkbook was reported stolen at 312 W. Lorimier St.
• Checks were reported stolen at 1028 N. Sprigg St.
• A purse was reported stolen at 1111 Linden St.
• Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Property damage

• A door was reported damaged at 821 William St.

Assaults

• An assault and property damage were reported.

Miscellaneous

• Trespassing/stealing was reported.
• Gift cards were reported found at 200 S. Mount Auburn Road.
• A 1990 blue Oldsmobile Cutlass, Missouri license 307ZTL, was reported abandoned at 1106 Big Bend Road.
• An attempted suicide was reported.
• Found property was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.
• Endangering the welfare of a child as reported.
• A suspicious fire was reported.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

• Becky R. Halbrook, 45, of 1121 Apache Drive, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

Thefts

• A theft was reported in the 700 block of Oak Street.
• A theft was reported in the 3000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• A theft was reported in the 1300 block of Trevino Drive
• A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
• A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Donald Street.
• A burglary was reported in the 400 block of Plainview.

Summons

• Crystal G. Bartusch, 25, of 213 Elmwood Blvd., received a summons for failure to register motor vehicle.

• Property was reported damaged in the 600 block of Sue Drive.
• Property damage was reported in the 200 block of North West Lane.
