Cape Girardeau
The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
Arrests
- Bryant E. Gant, 40, of 3038 Westfield Drive, No. 114, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
- A 15-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of being a runaway juvenile.
- Joseph M. Tittle, 25, of Portageville, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
- Stephanie A. Hobbs, 37, of 20 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on two Francois County warrants for probation violation, fraud/insufficient funds and for a Mississippi County warrant for failure to appear for neglect of child.
- Brandon J. Sherrion, 22, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for prohibited acts (noise disturbance and driving while under the influence).
- Nina L. Egson, 27, of Louisville, Ky., was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for improper registration.
- A 9-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of stealing and possession of a controlled substance.

- Garrett W. Stevens, of 2031 Pamela Drive, received a summons for following too closely.
- Steven P. Wilburn, 29, of Sikeston, Mo., received a summons for operating a motor vehicle with revoked driver's license.
- Matthew H. Besand, 23, of 920 Penny Ave., received a summons for property damage.
- A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of domestic assault.
DWI
- Matthew H. Besand, 23, of 920 Penny Ave., received a summons for speeding and driving while under the influence.
Thefts
- A wallet was reported stolen.
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
- Jewelry was reported stolen at 711 Normal Ave.
- Commerce Bank, 865 N. Kingshighway, reported fraudulent use of a credit device.
- The Missouri Department of Conservation, 1926 Grandview Drive, reported a briefcase and a laptop computer and accessories stolen.
- Mid South Steel, 2071 Corporate Circle, reported flatbed trailers stolen.
- A checkbook was reported stolen at 312 W. Lorimier St.
- Checks were reported stolen at 1028 N. Sprigg St.
- A purse was reported stolen at 1111 Linden St.
- Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.

- A door was reported damaged at 821 William St.

- An assault and property damage were reported.

- Gift cards were reported found at 200 S. Mount Auburn Road.
- A 1990 blue Oldsmobile Cutlass, Missouri license 307ZTL, was reported abandoned at 1106 Big Bend Road.
