Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests to not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Gabriel L. Edwards, 19, of 1605 New Madrid St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Tonya R. Thompson, 33, of 1029 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for failure to keep property free of litter.
  • Joshua S. Arnzen, 27, of 2038 Perryville Road, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a red light.
  • A subject is in custody pending filing of formal charges for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault

  • An assault was reported.

Summonses

  • Jon K. Louis, of 1403 Louis St., received a summons for following too closely.
  • Jared C. Toney, of 333 N. Frederick St., received a summons for failure to yield and failure to show proof of insurance.
  • Jack D. Daniel, of Chaffee, Mo., received a summons for expired operator's license.

Property damage

  • A satellite dish was reported damaged at 424 Pearl St.
  • A window was reported broken at 269 N. Lorimier St.
  • A glove compartment door was reported damaged at 212 S. Missouri Ave.

Thefts

  • Great Wall Restaurant, 3254 William St., reported a theft of buffet meals.
  • Plaza Auto Sales, 60 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of a dealer's plate D817-B.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of cash and cigarettes.
  • Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported a computer, camcorder, TV and children's vehicle were not returned.

Miscellaneous

  • A failure to maintain property free of trash and litter was reported.
  • A missing person was reported.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests to not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Kenneth M. Griffin, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested for two warrants from Arnold, Mo.

Thefts

  • A burglary was reported in the 800 block of Birdie Lane.
  • A burglary was reported in the 200 block of West Mary Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 800 block of North Farmington Road.

Miscellaneous

  • Harassment was reported in the 300 block of Emma Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 1700 block of Mulberry Street.
  • A disturbance was reported in the 600 block of East Jefferson Street.
