* At 7:23 p.m., an illegal burn in the 1500 block of William Street.

* At 7:53 p.m., a citizen assist in the 2400 block of Glenridge Drive.

* At 11:03 p.m., a box alarm at 416 North St.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Thursday:

* At 4:19 a.m., a child birth in the 1600 block of North Spanish Street.

* At 5:34 a.m., a dumpster fire at 1915 Golden Eagle Court.

* At 7:44 a.m., mutual aid to a fire with the Jackson Fire Department.

* At 3:29 p.m., a medical assist in the 1200 block of Linden Street.
