Firefighters responded to the following calls Saturday:

• At 3:26 p.m., emergency medical service at the 2600 block of Independence Street.
• At 4:17 p.m., emergency medical service at the 500 block of North Second Street.
• At 6:10 p.m., emergency medical service at the 800 block of South Ellis Street.
• At 7:42 p.m., emergency medical service at the 200 block of Franks Lane.
• At 7:55 p.m., box alarm at 1921 Monterey Drive.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Sunday:

• At 2:30 a.m., emergency medical service at the 100 block of North Lake Drive.
• At 7:49 a.m., smoke scare at the 1900 block of Bloomfield Road.
• At 12:33 p.m., emergency medical service at the 800 block of South Pacific Street.
• At 1:38 p.m., emergency medical service at the 1800 block of Good Hope Street.
• At 2:14 p.m., line down at the 1400 block of Good Hope Street.
