The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Terrence L. Harrell, 36, 223 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested at William Street and West End Boulevard on a Scott County warrant for non-support.
  • Evejo E. Gordon, 27, homeless, was arrested at 546 S. Sprigg St. on a Scott City warrant for failure to appear for a traffic offense.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing various merchandise at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of trespassing, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
  • Brittany D. Newson, 30, 541 S. Ellis St., was arrested at 2861 Themis St. on two Cape Girardeau County warrants for contempt of court and body attachment.

Summons

  • Lisa M. Packard, 37, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for stealing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

  • Burglary and theft of tools were reported at 1810 Dumais Drive.

Thefts

  • A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle at 621 Broadway.
  • License-plate tabs were reported stolen at 615 Broadway.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen at 915 S. Ranney Ave.
  • Money was reported stolen at Stone Mountain Carpet, 410 Siemers Drive.

Property damage

  • Property damage and tampering with a vehicle were reported at 45 S. West End Blvd.
