The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Thomas Easley, 54, was arrested on a warrant at 1101 Ranney Street.
  • Ahmed Alhamwah, 20, was arrested on suspicion of assault at 1710 N. Sprigg Street.
  • Dalton Haueisen, 22, 915 College Hill Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, failure to stop at a stop sign and excessive speeding at North Sprigg and Fairway Boulevard.
  • Vickie Anne Bennet, 53, of New Madrid, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William Street.
  • Edward Joseph Ruprecht, 18, of Eureka, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of misrepresentation of age and being a minor in possession.
  • Stephen Andrew Shores, 20, 632 Bellevue St., was arrested on suspicion of misrepresentation of age and being a minor in possession.
  • Elijah C. Enderle, 17, 2516 Masters Drive, was arrested on suspicion of curfew violation and being a minor in possession.
  • A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, curfew violation and being a minor in possession.
  • A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested on suspicion of curfew violation and being a minor in possession.

  • A black 2012 Hyundai Accent was reported stolen at 1918 N. Kingshighway.

Property damage

  • A wooden door was reported damaged at 1303 Jefferson Ave.
  • A rear flexiglass seal was reported damaged at 20 S. Henderson Ave.
  • Property damage was reported at 170 E. Rodney Drive.
  • Damage to a vehicle window was reported at 10 Rivercrest Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • Forgery was reported at Moneytime Check Cashers and Pawn, 2112 Broadway.
  • A 51-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • Counterfeiting was reported at Huck's Convenience Store, 353 S. Kingshighway.
  • A 47-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
  • A peace disturbance was reported.
  • Counterfeiting was reported at First Community Bank, 1025 N. Sprigg St.
