The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Deborah N. O'Neill, no age given, 823 S. Benton St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

• Two suspects were in custody on suspicion of stealing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
• Jacob S. Couch, no age given, no address given, was arrested on a warrant.
• Stephen C. Jones, no age given, no address given, was arrested on a warrant from another agency and a warrant for improper registration.
• Sean G. Kelley, no age given, no address given, was arrested on a warrant from another agency.

Thefts

• Jewelry was reported stolen at 3265 William St.
• Stealing and fraudulent use of a credit card were reported at 1600 Independence St.

Burglary

• Burglary was reported.

Assaults

• Assault was reported.
• Second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child were reported.

Miscellaneous

• A firearm was reported found.
• A curfew violation and possession of marijuana were reported at Middle and Independence streets.
