CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Shushya Salley, 21, of Ullin, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts.

* Jeremy Taylor, 38, 521 N. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

* Jeffrey Curry, 49, 1105 Linden St., was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.

* Benjamin Davis, no age given, of Jackson was arrested on a warrant for contempt of court.

* Karl Kain, 23, Malden, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Assaults

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Assault was reported at 410 Kiwanis Drive.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Merchandise was reported stolen at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* A bicycle was reported stolen at 624 Sharon Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Tampering was reported at 520 S. Minnesota Ave.

* Child molestation was reported.

* Failure to register as a sex offender was reported at 3002 Themis St.

* Violation of an order of protection was reported at 1400 S. West End Blvd.

* A 25-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.
