The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following item. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Charles D. Hovis, 54, of Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Vickie A. Stroud, 51, of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

* Ernest L. Greenwood, 59, 125 S. McKinley St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no insurance.

* Christopher A. Majors, 38, 1500 N. Spanish St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, two counts of failure to signal and failure to drive on the right half of the road.

Arrests

* Portia N. Lane, 35, 540 S. Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing and burglary.

* Edna J. Gates, 39, 1514 Scott St., rear, was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

* Jared N. Lorenz, 20, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Antonio L. Brown, 19, 724 S. Pacific St., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and resisting arrest.

* Keshia A. Kwarteng, 23, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Ryan A. McDermott, 24, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Joshua V. Moore, 23, 4 Village on the Green, Bldg. 11, Apt. 3, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance.

* Victor R. Merrifield Jr., 40, 808 S. Sprigg Ave., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and resisting arrest.

* Randy G. Lewis, 29, 3009 Mimosa Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant.

* Markel D. Johnson, 17, 505 Bellevue St., Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

* Martin A. Aquirre-Memdoza, 39, 745 S. Ellis St., was arrested on an immigration detainer.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and property damage.

* Amanda J. Carr, 26, 2817 Lear Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.

Summons

* Kimberly R. Moore, 48, 1927 N. Kingshighway, received a summons for stealing at Dollar General, 1142 N. Kingshighway.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglaries

* A laptop computer was reported stolen at 1812 Carondalet Drive.

* Burglary was reported at 205 S. Kingshighway.

* An Xbox, a DVD player, clothing and two televisions were reported stolen at 421 S. Ellis St.

Thefts

* Prepaid phone cards were reported stolen at Rhodes, 546 S. Sprigg St.

* An Xbox was reported stolen at 816 Illinois Ave.

* Gas was reported stolen and a gas line to a generator and a door were reported damaged at 1849 Perry Ave.

* A firearm was reported stolen and a vehicle window was reported damaged at 1318 Perryville Road.

Property damage

* Drywall was reported damaged at Dockside Furniture, 4 N. Spanish St.

Miscellaneous

* A 54-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 21-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 59-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 21-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Prohibited acts of noise were reported at 312 Bellevue St.

* A 52-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
