CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department reported the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Renee L. Brown, 45, 908 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing and a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing and tresspassing.
• A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
• A suspect is in custody pending formal charges of tampering with a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

• Lauren E. Powderly, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failing to drive on the right side of the roadway.
• Joda L. Sticht, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for failing to drive on the right side of the roadway and having no insurance.
• James M. McCard, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for driving while suspended and having no insurance.
• Kathleen X. Bartholomew, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failing to yield.
• Charles P. McGinty, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for improper backing.
• Greg W. Randles, no age given, of Alto Pass, Illinois, was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.
• Casey L. Guzman, no age given, of Morley, Missouri, was issued a summons for improper backing.
• A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Assault

• Domestic assault and armed criminal action were reported.
• Assault was reported.

Burglary

• A burglary was reported at 1500 Riverview Dr.

Theft

• A BB gun was reported stolen from 3025 Mimosa Dr.
• Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 45 S. West End Blvd.

Miscellaneous

• Counterfeiting was reported at Rhodes, 546 S. Sprigg St.
• A 52-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A 60-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Unlawful use of a weapon and damage to a plastic fence were reported at 510 Washington St.
