Arrests

• Cory J. Sanders, 17, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Kohls, 315 Shirley Drive.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
• An incorrigible 15-year-old boy was taken into custody.

Summonses

• Rebecca L. Smith, 47, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for breaking the animal leash law.
• Wendy K. Rust, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to yield.

DWI

• Gary A. Dodd, 59, of Tamms, Illinois, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated at the intersection of Big Bend Road and Mason Street.

Assault

• Charges were pending in connection with an assault at 1010 Sturdivant Street.

Burglary

• Burglary and theft of a flat-screen television and jewelry were reported at 505 North Broadview Street.

Theft

• Jewelry and money were reported stolen at 3120 Independence Street.
• A laptop, textbook and lamp were reported stolen at 2400 Albert Rasche Drive.
• A push mower was reported stolen at 3000 Pioneer Drive.
• Change was reported stolen and a passenger window broken at 823 Themis St.
• An iPhone was reported stolen at Arena Park.

Property Damage

• A vehicle was reported damaged at 632 Broadway.

Miscellaneous

• A runaway 16-year-old girl was reported.
• Counterfeiting was reported at Pizza Hut, 1015 N. Kingshighway.
• Assisting another agency was reported at Main and Merriwether streets.
• An animal bite was reported.
