Arrest

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful possession of concealable firearm and possession with intent.

Summonses

* Maxwell P. Ritter, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for following too close.

* Merle R. Hopper, no age given, of Oran, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

Miscellaneous

* Child abuse was reported.

The Department of Public Safety released the following item.

Summons

* Alec M. Lester, 18, of O'Fallon, Missouri, was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
