The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of dangerous drugs.

Summonses

• Bruce K. Huffman, 56, 27 S. Benton St., was issued a summons for excessive weed growth.
• Jon P. Kitchen, 57, 607 Albert St., was issued a summons for display of certain items prohibited.

Theft

• Miscellaneous merchandise was reported stolen at Dollar General, 724 Broadway.

Burglary

• Burglary and the theft of a shotgun and ammunition were reported at 1210 Marquette Drive.

Miscellaneous

• Endangering the welfare of a child and abuse of a child were reported.
• Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
• Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported.
• A 53-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Sexual misconduct was reported.
• Fraud was reported at 1820 N. Kingshighway.
• Counterfeiting was reported at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, 2021 Independence St.
• A 23-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
