CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items Sunday. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Cheyenne M. Burton, no age given, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was arrested at 20 S. Sprigg St. on a Bollinger County, Missouri, warrant for child neglect.
• LaTorya N. Mackins, no age given, 5 Village Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation, a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for traffic violation and a Union County, Illinois, warrant for theft.
• Joseph N. Courtway, no age given, 1500 N. Spanish St., was arrested at East Rodney and Conservation drives on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

Thefts

• Theft was reported in the 800 block of Perry Avenue.
• Theft was reported at 3047 William St.

Miscellaneous

• Child abuse was reported.
• A person was taken into protective custody.
• A person was taken into protective custody at 45 S. West End Blvd.
• Forgery was reported at 325 N. Kingshighway.
• Unlawful use of a weapon was reported at Benton Street and Jefferson Avenue.
