CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of property damage.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault, unlawful use of a weapon and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

Summonses

• Wesley S. Myers, 17, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of intoxicants.
• A 16-year-old boy was issued a summons for being a minor in possession of intoxicants.
• Bruce L. Blakley, 34, of Grand Tower, Illinois, was issued a summons for receiving stolen property.

Assaults

• Domestic assault was reported.
• Assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.
• Domestic assault was reported.
• Assault was reported.

Burglary

• Burglary and theft of a refrigerator, shampoo machine, vacuum and fan were reported at 419 S. Pacific St.

Thefts

• Theft of a motor vehicle was reported.
• A television was reported stolen at 754 S. West End Blvd., No. 5.
• A drill was reported stolen at 546 S. Spring St.
• Medications were reported stolen at 211 St. Francis Drive.
• License plates were reported stolen at 2842 Independence St.

Property damage

• Tires were reported damaged at 608 Albert St.

Miscellaneous

• A 37-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• Identity theft was reported.
