CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department responded to the following calls. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault in the 900 block of Frederick Street.
• Tiana J. Lewis, 22, of Pulaski, Illinois, was arrested at South Park Avenue and Merriwether Street on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for no license and a Scott County warrant.
• Russell W. Mackins, 19, 529 S. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for improper registration.
• Amanda M. Grubbs, 34, homeless, was arrested at 502 S. Hanover St. on a Scott County warrant.

Summonses

• Myron T. Todd Jr., 47, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal leash law required at 1400 Perry Ave.
• Talon J. Helton-Cain, 27, of Thebes, Illinois, was issued summonses for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2021 Independence St.

Burglary

• Burglary and theft were reported at 50 Centennial Drive.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 635 N. West End Blvd.
• Shoplifting was reported at Walmart, 3439 William St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 1415 Rose St.

Miscellaneous

• Endangering the welfare of a child was reported on Melrose Avenue.
