The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Shadrick S.J. Beechem, 20, 4298 Bloomfield Road, was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Kelly R. Gause, 29, 620 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.

* Jimmy L. Simms, 48, of Scott City was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Menards, 535 Siemers Drive.

* Barry A. Russell, 35, 811 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and improper registration.

* Gary R. Tidwell, 34, of Dexter, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.

* Amy E. Shaw, 34, 2833 Hopper Road, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Food Giant, 1120 N. Kingshighway.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Robbery

* A robbery was reported.

* A set of keys was reported stolen at West End Boulevard and Perryville Road.

* A 29-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
