CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

• Christopher L. Hyten, 33, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated at North Mount Auburn and Kage roads.
• Shadley J. Bigham, 42, of Marion, Illinois, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated at Independence Street and Kingshighway.

Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault on a law enforcement officer at Broadway and North Sprigg Street.
• Rick Jason Lewis Jr., 25, 1022 Village Drive, was arrested at 130 Siemers Drive on a warrant for probation and parole violation.
• Justin C. Abernathy, 23, 1023 Haddock St., was arrested at Pacific and Bellevue streets on two Jefferson County, Missouri, misdemeanor warrants for failure to appear.
• Kasey Romans, 31, of Advance, Missouri, was arrested on a warrant for parole violation at 335 N. Kingshighway.
• Terry D. Batten, 50, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested at William Street and South Park Avenue on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and a Jackson misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault, trespassing and possession of marijuana.
• Jeffrey J. Ford, 47, 411 Fitzgerald Ave., was arrested on a warrant.
• Andre D. Cunigan, 41, 2867 Whitener St., was arrested at South Middle Street and Jefferson Avenue on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
• Danny L. Warren, 33, of Jackson was arrested at 1701 Lacey St. on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
• Joshua A Bell, 24, 1938 Delwin St., was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.
• Brian L. Patrick, 37, 1313 Jefferson Ave., was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Charges

• Ethan J. Walz, 17, of Jackson faces charges of shoplifting at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
• Charges are pending against a suspect for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia at 335 N. Kingshighway.

Assaults

• Assault was reported at 1701 Lacey St.
• Assault was reported at 211 St. Francis Drive.
• Assault was reported at 121 East Rodney Drive.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at 324 Bellevue St.
• Theft was reported at 353 S. Kingshighway.
• Theft was reported at 354 S. Broadview St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 1122 Good Hope St.

• Ex parte violation was reported in the 800 block of S. Ellis St.
• Assist other agency was reported at 3026 Mimosa Drive.
• Animal bite was reported at 921 Hackberry St.
