Arrests

  • William Cody Evan Jaquin, 19, 5579 Highway 25, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • A 15-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of burglary, stealing, property damage and resisting arrest.
  • Krista Renee Smith, 30, of East Prairie, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.
  • Ishmael Lott, 23, 430 N. Frederick St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Michael J. Sherrod, 26, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for a probation violation.
  • Detrayous D. Curry, 31, 2775 Hawthorne Road, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport.

Summonses

  • Caresa A. Sterling, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for property damage at 721 N. Middle St.
  • Kristi M. Donaldson, 38, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for shoplifting at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Thefts

  • Stealing was reported at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • A PlayStation controller was reported stolen at 2801 Hopper Road.

  • Jeffrey B. Moffat, 55, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of statutory rape and statutory sodomy.
  • Terry J. Zeigler, 38, of Perryville, Missouri, was arrested on a Perry County warrant for failure to appear for damage to property.
  • Jordan R. Smith, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Steve W. Back II, 43, of Jacksonville, Illinois, was arrested on three Lincoln County warrants for fraudulently stopping payment of an instrument.
  • Darrell R.D. Porter, 31, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and tampering with a motor vehicle.
  • Anthony C. Tucker, 43, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and fraudulent use of a credit card.
  • Brandon D. Tipler, 34, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Johnathan K. Lewis, 26, of Benton, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked and tampering.
