The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • James W.R. Bates, 55, 610 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested at 620 S. Henderson Ave. on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for dangerous drugs.
  • Arvel L. Long, 37, 45 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to stop at a stop sign and improper registration.
  • Kevin K. Bevell Jr., 29, of Advance, Missouri, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear.
  • Leonard L. Copen, 34, 176 Garden Lane, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for contempt of court.
  • Tasch L. Bierschwal, 36, 1400 S. West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • A juvenile was cited into juvenile court on suspicion of trespassing.

Summonses

  • Shelisha N. Chapman, 29, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for display of certain items prohibited at 240 S. Benton St.
  • Nelson B. French, 31, of Charleston, Missouri, was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving on Interstate 55, mile marker 95.
  • Melissa J. Sprenger, 24, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal-leash law required at 1518 Luce St.

  • Skirts were reported stolen at 230 N. Ellis St.
