CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Jackie Franklin Hahs, 49, 1518 Luce St., was arrested on suspicion of false declaration.
• Elijawaun Jones, 1001 S. Pacific St., was arrested at Hanover Street and Jefferson Avenue on suspicion of failure to yield, driving while suspended and possession of marijuana.

Burglary

• First-degree burglary was reported at 212 N. Pind Wood Lane.

Thefts

• Theft of a vehicle, display or possession of motor-vehicle trailer plates of another and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle were reported at Boxwood Drive and Sycamore Circle.
• Theft of a vehicle was reported at 239 N. Middle St.

Property damage

• Property damage was reported at 2218 Earleen Drive.

Miscellaneous

• An animal bite was reported at 600 S. Benton St.
• Counterfeiting was reported at Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway.
• A missing person was reported at 620 S. Henderson Ave.
• A missing or runaway juvenile was reported at 1214 Jefferson Ave.
