The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* Darnell S. Stokes, 38, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, failure to maintain roadway and motor vehicle accident.
Arrests
* Kyle T. Wade, 21, 714 S. Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest.
* Sharon K. Johnson, 37, 132 S. Benton St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear.
* Elvaunte D. Bland, 19, 1126 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for assault.
* Detavian L. Richardson, 19, 1115 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest.
* Timothy R. Booker II, 17, 1115 Good Hope St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance and resisting arrest.
* Charles D. Johnson, 17, 1427 Clark Ave., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest, property damage, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a concealable firearm.
Summonses
* Sherri L. Howard, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for following too close.
* Tayler R. Malone, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to yield.
Assaults
* Assault was reported.
* Domestic assault was reported.
Burglary
* Burglary, property damage and theft of guns, gun display case, house grip, laermax pointer and bullets were reported at 1726 New Madrid St.
Thefts
* A laptop computer was reported stolen at 225 S. Lorimier.
* A trash can was reported stolen at 720 Normal Ave.
* Electronic products were reported stolen at MRC Recycling, 2007 Southern Expressway.
Property damage
* A door was reported damaged at 1629 Whitener St.
* An accidentally scratched vehicle was reported at 232 Shirley Drive.
Miscellaneous
* A 49-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* An ex-parte violation was reported.
* A 54-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
* A 46-year-old man was placed in detention for the mentally ill.
* A violation of order of protection was reported.
