Arrests

  • Reno M. Jones, 32, 515 Cape Meadows Drive, Apt. 17, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance at Broadway and North Water Street.
  • Samantha P. Stoll, 20, of St. Charles, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol at 600 Broadway.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated at Mount Auburn Road and U.S. 61.
  • Cortni D. Corbin, 26, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Dustin L. Easley, 26, of East Prairie, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of stealing from Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.
  • Kelbie B. Rodgers, 22, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • E'Davion D. Wade, 18, 45 S. West End Blvd. No. 102, was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance; failure to appear for stealing; and failure to appear for probation violation.
  • Traiveon Selvey-Lester, 19, 308 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear for leaving the scene of an accident.
  • Jeffery S. Ganntt, 30, 1217 Dunklin Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for traffic violation.
  • Two juveniles were taken into custody on suspicion of property damage at 775 W. Rodney St.

Burglary

  • Burglary and theft of a television were reported at 224 N. Lorimier St.
  • Burglary and theft of a laptop computer were reported at 1710 N. Sprigg St.

Thefts

  • A tire and rim were reported stolen at 622 Bellevue St.
  • Gas treatment was reported stolen at Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St.
  • Three bicycles were reported stolen at 2711 Leroy St.
  • Clothing was reported stolen at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.
  • A cellphone was reported stolen at 1565 N. Kingshighway.
  • A large rock was reported stolen at 2299 Hunters Lane.
  • A credit device was reported stolen at 15 N. Main St.

Property damage

  • A broken car window was reported at 401 Washington St.
  • Damage to a mailbox was reported at 1330 N. Sprigg St.
  • A glass storm door and wooden door were reported damaged at 1816 N. Main St.
  • A dent in a vehicle hood was reported.

Miscellaneous

  • A driver's license and credit card were found at North Sprigg and Emerald streets.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit or debit device was reported at 3253 William St.
  • A 27-year-old man was taken into protective custody at 915 College Hill Drive.
  • Identity theft and elder abuse were reported.
