CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of violation of an order of protection.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of assault.

* Laura C. Hampton, 37, of Perryville, Missouri, was arrested on Perry County warrant for assault.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of endangering the welfare of a child and behavior injurious to self or others.

* Samia J. Carter, 31, 214 Bellevue St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for contempt of court willful disobedience of a process.

* Kelbie B. Rodgers, 21, of Scott City was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court for failure to pay fines.

* Melissa G. Croney, 40, 45 West End Blvd., was arrested on a warrant.

Summonses

* Shamika N. Grishom, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for following too close.

* Cory R. Lacy, 28, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons on suspicion of assault.

Theft

* Stealing was reported at 736 William St.

Burglary

* Burglary and the theft of alcohol, a television and a Red Bull cooler were reported at 2815 S. Sprigg St.

Assault

* Assault was reported.

Miscellaneous

* Tampering with a witness was reported.

* A 38-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

Arrests

* Ashley R. Edwards, 29, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for theft.

* Demarko A. Wilbourn, 25, of Nashville, Tennessee, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for driving while revoked.

* Zenitha M. Wyatt, 43, of Piedmont, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.

* Justin W. Wiesler, 24, of Glen Allen, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.

* Bobbie J. Walters, 35, of Dutchtown was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for failure to wear a seat belt.

* James E. Hayden, 36, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Jimmy D. Metcalf, 48, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle on a highway without a valid license.

* Richard A. Roach, 30, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of assault and unlawful use of a weapon.
