DWI

* Scott G. Sides, 41, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

* Kyle Cosby, 22, of Springfield, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

* James O. Baker, 28, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for driving without a license.

Summonses

* James T. Eakin, 28, 234 N. Lorimier St., No. 1, received a summons for peace disturbance.

* Lee W. Keller, 42, of Jackson received a summons for assault at 2136 William St.

* Heather N. Toma, 31, 1119 Ranney Ave., received a summons for having more animals than the legal limit and animal neglect.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101 Stop, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of fuel.

* Stealing was reported at Doctors' Park and Mount Auburn Road.

* Stealing and property damage were reported at 3261 William St.

* Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at 2334 Rusmar St.

* Theft of a firearm was reported at 405 Albert St.

* A license plate was reported stolen at 221 N. Sprigg St.

Burglaries

* Burglary and stealing were reported at 740 North St.

* Property damage was reported at 233 Independence St.

Miscellaneous

* A 45-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 23-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Lost property was reported at 1224 S. Lorimier St.

* Christopher H. Copeland II, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Justin T. Borneman, 25, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of property damage and trespassing.

* Jessica E. Stone, 29, of O'Fallon, Mo., was arrested on a Kenton County Police warrant.

* William M. Cowan, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving without a valid license.

* Dustin T. Smith, 25, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Missouri warrant for a probation violation for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

* Thomas Gavin, 33, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a firearm.
